EMS REDFISHING

Had a crew of Acadian Paramedics Brady, Ben, Derek, Cane and Scott from Marksville La down on the bayou this past weekend for some fishing fun and RR. The weather was perfect light winds and warm temps and a rising tide. The guy’s wanted redfish so that is what we went after. Worked around the marsh picking reds at most spots with some redfish going in the cooler Most fish between 16” and 20” and the small ones back overboard. The rods were bent and that was the important thing steady action all day and a great group of guy’s. We cut up and laughed joked with each other all day. These guy’s really enjoyed the day and had a blast. They booked another day in August to do it all again.

Windy day Redfish!

John Bindewald and 11 yr old son Blake on board today for some red fishing action in Hopedale LA. A cold front blew in last night and had it kind of coola and windy this morning but that would not be problem. First stop two redfish on ein the box the other too small back overboard. A couple more stops not a bite but we kept at it. Found some reds feeding off a point out of the wind Blake was first to hook up then John and the reds were hitting every cast for awhile we put 10 in the box and that many released. Two stops later and the limit was full along with a few drum and a flounder. Great day and back before noon. All fished caught on dead shrimp under a cork

Kid's and Redfish

Yesterday Eric and Kevin brought their son,s Kevin and Eric out for day of fishing and boy did they have fun. The morning started slow but soon we got onto some reds and kid's perked right up reeling them in. The bite was slow but steady enough to keep the kid's interested and they liked playing with the fish in the box. We had to stay on the move picking up a few reds ant each stop by noon we were one away froam a limit. Last stop was the charm little kevin and Eric each caughta big drag pulling redfish to end the day on. I had blast with the young ones and they were calling uncle Gene by the end of the trip, Great day. All fish caught with dead shrimp under corks.
