November Ducks

November trout fishing has been wide open Trout being caught all over the marsh with live shrimp and plastics under corks. Redfish biting good but scattered. The first split of the LA duck season was not as good as usual and warmer then past seseaons. The duck numbers in our area are down from previous years but I had some really good hunts and happy hunters. The second split which starts on December 15 should be a lot better. Hopefully colder weather here and up north will brings more ducks to the marshes. All and all still a sucessful first split with an average of 8 to 10 ducks per hunt.
